Boerne Birders at Kiehl Park

Meet at Kiehl Park entrance parking lot. Come bird this new Kendall County Park on the Guadalupe River. It has grassland and extensive wooded river frontage. Join a friendly group, who welcome beginners and experienced birders to our monthly outings. Bring binoculars and favorite bird book.
Directions from Boerne: I-10 W to Comfort. Bear right after crossing river. Look for "OLD TUNNEL WIDLIFE MGMT" sign. Turn right on FM 473 to Sisterdale. A few miles out you will see our sign directing you to turn right on Riverbend Rd, very narrow in spots with blind corners. Drive carefully through first river crossing. Park entrance is about 200 yds on the right.
