CANCELLED: Feral Hog Management

Feral hogs severely impact the Texas Landscape and cause significant harm to creeks and streams that accelerates erosion and degrades habitats.  Presenters from TPWD and Texas Agrilife Extension Service will explore the many methods available to landowners to manage feral hog populations. Feral hog biology and ecology will be discussed as well as a variety of culling techniques from hunting to trapping to research on new techniques.  Cage trapping methods will be illustrated as well as the shortcomings and pitfalls of some cage trapping methods.  Emphasis will be placed on adaptive management as the key to successful feral hog management.

For anyone who has a hog problem, this is a workshop you must attend!
